I’d like to insert multiple query results in the same tab.  But I cannot find what “google Gemini” indicates is the option that does that - INSERT TO - as in INSERT the query results into THIS data range

In a Looker Studio Dashbaord I want to just count the number of days in a selected Date Range.  I’ve seen threads to use DATE_DIFF(MAX(Day),MIN(Day)) Not working. any suggestions appreciated

I know there are a lot of Facebook changes. I’m no where near caught up on them. The big one I noticed for my reports is that Organic Reach and Organic Impressions have been showing as 0’s for me. I reconnected the Facebook Insights connector and saw a lot of the changes.Organic Reach Organic Reach of Posts Organic Impressions Organic Impressions of PostsThese are all 0s for me. Is this true for everyone? All I find via Google Search is that Facebook’s organic reach is trending down across the board - but nothing that says we should have 0.

Hey all,  I think I created a funky little function with the help of Supermetrics, to get alerts whenever a 404 response happens on the site (more or less).  How this works is: GA4/GTM: You need to have an event that tracks whenever a user visits a 404 page - you can set this up through GTM or GA4 itself Supermetrics: You pull your 404 data into a sheet thanks to supermetrics Apps Script: Thanks to a script you install an alert whenever a 404 happens (e.g. every day, every 7 days, every month). We are in process of doing the Rental market analysis and we see that a lot of house rental ads are there on FB marketplace only.While we do have the connector to the Facebook from Supermetrics but we are not able to get a handle to the FB Marketplace data.Any insights or suggestions would be helpful. Thanks.

Hey there! Does anyone else use Basis DSP and is having issues with the connector? Our primary issue is that SM isn’t pulling in all the data that Basis DSP API is providing; only the very high-level ‘Line’ item level data is available, with Group and Tactic level data completely missing (even though it’s available in the Basis DSP API). Support told me to submit an “Idea” which I’ve done now twice with no update. This is a HUGE missing for us, and wondering if anyone else is experiencing the same thing?

One of the most useful functions in Looker Studio is called "Paste styles only." This function is a real-time saver, allowing you to copy any chart and paste all styling information into a chart of the same type.Pasting styles into a chart saves time and ensures coherent styling.Style coherence across an organizationLooker Studio doesn't provide a centralized tool to achieve coherent styling across multiple reports. Each report has its theme settings, and each chart has its styling information. At Supermetrics, we created a Looker Studio styling repository for each report series we maintain. This repository—called the Toolkit—contains sample configurations of each chart type used in these reports.Keeping a repository of styled charts is the basis for organization-wide coherent report styling.Whenever someone inserts a new chart into a report, they can simply copy a chart from the repository and paste the styling information into the newly created chart.

Data reports sometimes require a page containing contextual information, such as resource links or background details on how the data was collected. Often, you may want to include the same information in multiple reports.The issue arises when the information is contained in multiple reports and an update is required. You would need to track down all reports containing the information and update each individually. In this scenario, embedding a report page from another Looker Studio report can be a suitable solution.Our new series of connector templates includes a page called "Getting Started," which links to many resources that apply to all our connectors. Almost all the information on this page is managed in a separate Looker Studio report and then embedded using the technique described in this help article.It's possible to place additional elements on top of the embedded information. Rachael Marsland - your friendly neighbourhood CSM here coming to ya from Ontario, Canada.  I was chatting with one of my customers today and they asked me if I had any tips for organizing paid vs. organic data in sheets using Supermetrics. I answered to the best of my ability as a non-marketer, but it lead to me to thinking.. if only we had a forum where customers could connect with each other and ask for tips, tricks, and best practices... which finally motivated me to make my first post in hopes this helps my customer & other new Supermetrics users.  So I ask: How do YOU manage & organize paid vs. organic data in sheets?

Here’s a quick tip for you. Setting report triggers in Google Sheets is a lifesaver, but you may have queries in your reports that you don’t want to update every time the refresh happens. This is why we have a handy advanced setting called ​​’SKIP_QUERY_REFRESH’. This setting skips the query you don’t want to update but runs the refresh to all other queries.  

Does anyone know if it is possible to create a relation between Instagram posts (likes comments etc. - Instagram Insights) and the ad spend on those posts (promoting for example- Facebook Ad manager). I am looking to create a dashboard where we show engagement (Instagram Insights) and spend (Facebook Ads). However, as far as I know this would require an overlapping dimension in Instagram Insights and Facebook ads in order to create a relationship in PowerBi, preferably done through a unique values post ID. Unfortunately post ID or media ID's are not the same numbers in the two data sources.Would love to hear if others experience the same issue.

Before adjusting the first charts you add to your Looker Studio dashboard, ensure the theme settings are aligned with your report design. Before publishing the report, go through a checklist of the report settings.Theme SettingsWith the theme settings, you can adjust all default values of charts and other dashboard components, such as text boxes and native navigation elements, including typefaces, colors, and border styles.At first, it might not be obvious what theme setting affects a specific component. For this reason, it's a good exercise to create a basic reporting page that includes text boxes, tables, and a date picker. Then, change the theme settings until you achieve the desired result. Once you have your theme set up correctly, you usually won't need to adjust it again. There isn't a centralized place for settings in Looker Studio.
