I’m trying to extract email address data from the Klaviyo connector in Looker Studio, but it keeps failing no matter how few or how many other dimensions/metrics I try. I want to use email address data to blend with other data sources, but without this data from Klaviyo, I can’t do that.

 

I also can’t build a table with the raw data from Klaviyo using the connector either. I initially thought I was just trying too bring in too much data, but now I’m not sure?

It sounds like this needs some troubleshooting to find out whether the issue is caused by too much data or something else. Could you please try the following:

  1. What is Looker Studio’s behaviour when you try to fetch less data with a lighter query, for example ‘Account’ and some other metric? Does the query work? Or do you see an error message? 
  2. If the above works, what is Looker Studio’s behaviour when you modify the date range to include only one day of data while including ‘Email address’?

If lighter queries work but heavier ones cause the charts to endlessly load and eventually time out, the issue is likely due to pulling too much data.
