My job at Supermetrics is to help our users build the solutions they want to get when they buy our product. I’ve met hundreds of people with data analytics problems and I regret that I never started a count of how many projects I’ve built either myself or with my team. Those projects often have an interesting story in them. Here’s one that stuck in my memory: A few years ago, a popular international brand got Supermetrics in order to build a centralised data platform for their marketing reporting. As a big international business, they had siloed regional marketing departments that operated under guidance from the HQ but otherwise were making their own decisions when it came to the details of running their marketing. They were setting their campaigns up themselves and were also running their own marketing reporting, sending results back to HQ in dashboards or spreadsheets.You can imagine that this situation was causing friction as HQ had difficulties comparing the performance marketing

Hi, I am struggling with getting data to Facebook insights, especially, I am missing reels data. Choosing the right typeface for reports in Looker Studio isn't very difficult. Only a few fonts available can be used to display numbers in tables: Lato, Roboto, and Open Sans.All three typefaces have a few things in common: they're highly readable sans-serif fonts, even in small sizes. Most importantly, their numbers are monospaced, meaning all numbers will vertically align perfectly in a table.We chose Lato over Roboto and Open Sans because "Lato" is the Polish word for "summer". We all love summer at Supermetrics.Tip: Make sure your numbers are well-aligned when used in a table. Not all typefaces use monospaced numbers. To ensure consistent usage of font faces and sizes, we recommend creating a page that lists the different headlines, sub-headlines, and labels or axes in your reports. In Looker Studio, you can also determine the line height. When starting a new Looker Studio dashboard, one of the first things you need to decide on are the foundational elements: layout, grid, and headers. Here's a quick roundup of what to watch out for.Canvas size & navigationFor the navigation, there are two crucial decisions to make:Where do you want to place your navigation? How wide should your report be?It's always easier to create reports on a larger canvas. But will it fit into your users' screens? If you prefer your navigation on the side because you expect your reports to have many pages, the navigation will further reduce the horizontal space available.If you place your navigation on top, your reports can be wider, but you'll fit fewer pages unless you store pages within sections. Sections in Looker Studio are like folders and are a great way to organize dashboards with many reporting pages.We are using the top navigation with a canvas width of 1420px. Hi team, I was wondering if there was a way to modify the query dates to compare the same dates a month ago. There is only an option for same dates a year ago. ie Compare 1-14th Aug 2024 to 1-14 Jul 2024.Thank you!

Hi everyone,Objective: Stack multiple headline columns (Headline 1 to Headline 15) into a single column in Looker Studio. Challenge: Looker Studio doesn’t natively support this transformation. Data Source: Using the Supermetrics connector for Google Ads, which lacks a built-in feature for stacking columns vertically. Need: A workaround or best practices to achieve this within Looker Studio.Has anyone faced a similar issue or found a solution? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!Thanks in advance!
