Hey there! Does anyone else use Basis DSP and is having issues with the connector? Our primary issue is that SM isn’t pulling in all the data that Basis DSP API is providing; only the very high-level ‘Line’ item level data is available, with Group and Tactic level data completely missing (even though it’s available in the Basis DSP API). Support told me to submit an “Idea” which I’ve done now twice with no update. This is a HUGE missing for us, and wondering if anyone else is experiencing the same thing?

Data reports sometimes require a page containing contextual information, such as resource links or background details on how the data was collected. Often, you may want to include the same information in multiple reports.The issue arises when the information is contained in multiple reports and an update is required. You would need to track down all reports containing the information and update each individually. I answered to the best of my ability as a non-marketer, but it lead to me to thinking.. if only we had a forum where customers could connect with each other and ask for tips, tricks, and best practices... which finally motivated me to make my first post in hopes this helps my customer & other new Supermetrics users.  So I ask: How do YOU manage & organize paid vs. organic data in sheets?

Here’s a quick tip for you. Setting report triggers in Google Sheets is a lifesaver, but you may have queries in your reports that you don’t want to update every time the refresh happens. This is why we have a handy advanced setting called ​​’SKIP_QUERY_REFRESH’. This setting skips the query you don’t want to update but runs the refresh to all other queries.  

Does anyone know if it is possible to create a relation between Instagram posts (likes comments etc. - Instagram Insights) and the ad spend on those posts (promoting for example- Facebook Ad manager). I am looking to create a dashboard where we show engagement (Instagram Insights) and spend (Facebook Ads). However, as far as I know this would require an overlapping dimension in Instagram Insights and Facebook ads in order to create a relationship in PowerBi, preferably done through a unique values post ID. Unfortunately post ID or media ID's are not the same numbers in the two data sources.Would love to hear if others experience the same issue.

Before adjusting the first charts you add to your Looker Studio dashboard, ensure the theme settings are aligned with your report design. Before publishing the report, go through a checklist of the report settings.Theme SettingsWith the theme settings, you can adjust all default values of charts and other dashboard components, such as text boxes and native navigation elements, including typefaces, colors, and border styles.At first, it might not be obvious what theme setting affects a specific component. For this reason, it's a good exercise to create a basic reporting page that includes text boxes, tables, and a date picker. Then, change the theme settings until you achieve the desired result. Once you have your theme set up correctly, you usually won't need to adjust it again.

Choosing the right typeface for reports in Looker Studio isn't very difficult. Only a few fonts available can be used to display numbers in tables: Lato, Roboto, and Open Sans.All three typefaces have a few things in common: they're highly readable sans-serif fonts, even in small sizes.
