To make sure your reports continue to run smoothly, please take the following steps:Renew the data source connection in Supermetrics. If you need help, please see these guides in our support center. We recommend renewing the data source connection via hub.supermetrics.com. You can now refresh your existing queries and create new ones.If you have any questions, just let us know in the community or reach out to our support team. 

We have made changes how conversion metrics are calculated before and after April 1, 2025 on our LiveIntent data source. These updates, which went live on April 17, 2025, reflect changes on the LiveIntent reporting platform regarding how conversion metrics are calculated. These changes were introduced by LiveIntent and are detailed here. What's new? (Since April 17th)The original Total conversions metric is now in a new group called Legacy metrics.  You'll find new conversion metrics under the Core metrics group. These use LiveIntent's updated calculation method (from April 1st onwards). The Attribution setting is now named Attribution setting (legacy). This only affects the numbers in the Legacy metrics group.What to do next?If you want to use the new conversion metrics, you'll need to edit your existing reports/queries or create new queries and pick fields from the Core metrics group. Keep in mind that the names of the old conversion metrics have changed — this can affect your current reports.How the fields work:The Core metrics will show data from April 1, 2025, onwards. Before that date, they'll show as "0". The Legacy metrics will show data for dates before April 1, 2025. After that, they'll show as "0". You can find more details in LiveIntent’s documentation here:  https://support.liveintent.com/updates-to-conversion-reporting/ We recommend taking a look at these changes and updating your reports/queries if needed. If you have any questions, just let us know in the community or reach out to our support team. 

We've updated our Instagram Insights data source to fetch more post comments.Previously, our Instagram Insights data source could fetch a maximum of 300 of the most recent comments per post. Now, we've increased this maximum to 400. How does it work?You can control the number of comments using the 'Comments per media post' setting, located in the advanced/optional settings of the Instagram Insights data source. The available options are 100 (default), 200, 300, and 400 of the most recent comments. Please be aware that fetching a higher number of comments can slow down your reports, particularly in tools like Looker Studio and Power BI. In these cases, we recommend fetching a lower number of comments.

Action required: Renew your connection on May 8, 2025We are making significant improvements to our Adjust data source on May 8, 2025. These changes will streamline your experience and expand your data retrieval capabilities.  What will change?We are adding support for fetching data from multiple apps within a single Adjust connection, by adding an app selection for the data source. With this improvement, we are also making it easier to connect to the data source by removing the need to add the “App token”.  What to do next?To keep the data source running smoothly, you need to renew your connection on May 8, 2025. ​​​​​If you do not renew your connection, all your existing and new queries in the Adjust data source will return an error about needing to select an app when refreshing or creating queries. To ensure your queries continue to run smoothly, please take the following steps:Renew the data source connection in Supermetrics. If you need help, please refer to these guides in our support center. We recommend renewing the data source connection via hub.supermetrics.com. After connecting the data source, select the apps for which you want to obtain data. You can now refresh your existing queries and create new ones.Note: If you want to report on custom event data, please do not select multiple apps since custom events only work with one app selected at a time.

Single-factor password authentication will no longer be supported.This change will also affect Supermetrics users using Snowflake as their data destination. This will give you more control over who has edit access to features like transfers and transformations, making it easier to avoid accidental changes.Key changesTwo new default roles on the platform:A view-only role: Users can access and view shared resources but cannot modify them. When assigning this role, you can ensure that only authorized team members can make changes to transfers, blends, and custom fields.Finance role: Users can manage financial data, billing, and licenses. This role allows users to handle these tasks securely without using an additional license seat. Users with finance roles do not get access to other platform features.Revamped Team pageWe’ve refreshed the team management interface to make it easier for administrators to view, understand, and manage user roles.A new permissions table has been added, clearly outlining the access levels associated with each role.Why it mattersThese updates will simplify user management and improve the security of the Supermetrics platform, especially when dealing with features that are prone to accidental changes.
