What’s new at Supermetrics in November 2024

A new month means new product updates. In this edition, we’ll talk you through the latest data blending feature, new connectors, the SuperSummit event, and more!

Data Blending Joins is now released

We’re excited to introduce Data Blending Joins in Supermetrics! While our Data Blending Unions lets you combine similar data sources, Joins takes it further by allowing you to connect data from entirely different platforms—like matching paid media channels with Salesforce to see your ROAS.

You can analyze cross-platform performance and customer journeys with a whole new level of depth and create attribution reports more easily than before!

New and improved data transfer monitoring for DWH and HubSpot

This is a heads-up that the existing DWH and HubSpot monitoring pages will be retired on December 10, 2024. You do not need to take any action.

Supermetrics is making data transfer monitoring for DWH and HubSpot even better.

  • New Monitoring View: See all transfer details (runs, statuses, dates) in one convenient place.
  • Easier Troubleshooting: Quickly identify issues with failed transfers through error messages and job details.
  • HubSpot Update: Monitor HubSpot imports on the Data Sources page (Data Sources & Connection > HubSpot > Monitor Data Transfers).

Improving your Query Manager experience

For DWH users, we're making changes to improve your Query Manager experience. Starting in early December, DWH users will be redirected to Table Manager. This will enhance user experience and pave the way for future features.

Hi Aurora! Any insight as to how this update from Meta will impact organic reporting in Supermetrics? https://creators.facebook.com/introducing-views-to-simplify-content

Hi Aurora! Any insight as to how this update from Meta will impact organic reporting in Supermetrics? https://creators.facebook.com/introducing-views-to-simplify-content

At this time, the Graph API hasn’t really caught up with this and still distinguishes between impressions and views/plays and what types of content can use those metrics. There is no unified “Views” metric there yet. That said, we already offer various Plays metrics in Instagram Insights and will be adding Plays (or Views, if they rename those) to Facebook Insights early next year.

Meta’s been doing a lot of changes to the APIs recently to remove old stuff and better align with the reporting UIs. So we’ll continue to follow those closely, and adjust and update the data sources as necessary as those changes are announced. And of course, we will notify users if these changes require updates to their reporting.

Thanks!
