hi everyone,

i’m struggling to find a metrics from Facebook called “Profile Visit”, it’s not available when i tried to pull report from Supermetrics’ extension.

Can anyone let me know how to pull this specific metric?

Many thanks,
Tommy

Nothing to report at this time. I don’t believe Meta has exposed it yet in the API to use, so we’re still waiting for that update to add this.

Thanks,
Jessie

We currently don’t provide the metric for Instagram profile visits. I’ve recorded a feature request for this in our backlog.

Hi @jessiebrock! Is there any update on Instagram profile visit metric? Thought it would be the query “_media_profile_visits_” on Instagram Insights, but I guess it’s not the correct metric?

Hi!

There’s kind of an update - Meta had a post saying they had added these to the Marketing API in December. https://developers.facebook.com/blog/post/2025/12/03/instragram-api-updates/

I saw them there in the API docs and added an item to implement them sometime in the new year. However, the fields have since disappeared from the documentation (both on the Instagram side and the Ads side).

So not sure if Meta changed their minds and will release them later, or it’s planned for the upcoming v25 release, or if they are their but the documentation was incorrectly updated.

We’re going to look into this more but it may still be some time before we can introduce them if they still aren’t in the API yet.

Thank you,
Jessie
