Impact has announced new API rate limits, and these new limits will affect the Supermetrics Impact data source, as we rely on the affected API.
Impacts new rate limits are enforced as of the new year (2026). You can find more information here.
Impact has lowered the API rate limit to 100 requests per day for ReportExport reporting endpoints. When the limit is reached, your queries may fail. Note that one query can be more than one request.
Brands with more than 100 programs are more likely to hit these limits due to the number of requests required to fetch data. Impact will communicate directly with affected users about this change. If you haven’t received communication from Impact yet, your brand is likely not affected yet.
No action is required if your usage stays within Impact’s new rate limits.
If you are affected by these limits:
- Review and reduce the number of programs your brand has (ideally fewer than 100 programs).
- Contact Impact directly to discuss the feasibility of a rate limit increase, which they evaluate on a case-by-case basis.
