We released new versions of our BigQuery and Snowflake data sources this summer, offering a consistent experience with all Supermetrics data sources and an expanded range of features.
Key improvements and why you should use the new data sources:
- Expanded destination support: The new BigQuery and Snowflake data sources now support all Supermetrics destinations, including Google Sheets, Looker Studio, Microsoft Excel, API (Query Manager), Power BI, and Data Warehouses. Previously, the Legacy data sources only supported Google Sheets and Looker Studio.
- Supermetrics Data Blending and Custom Fields: These new data sources now support Supermetrics Data Blending and Custom Fields, providing greater flexibility in your data analysis.
- Blend data from multiple data warehouses: Seamlessly combine data from different data warehouses.
- Combine with other data sources: Utilise custom fields or blend Snowflake and BigQuery data with other Supermetrics data sources.
- Flexible raw data handling: Store your raw data directly in Snowflake or BigQuery, and then use these data sources to blend or create custom fields without re-querying the original source.
- No SQL required: You no longer need to write SQL to query data. Simply select dimensions and metrics from a list, just like with our other data sources.
