Instagram introduced a new Repost feature in August 2025, along with related metrics in Insights (repost count, engagement, reach). It would be very helpful if Supermetrics supports these new metrics, so marketers can track repost performance, compare original vs reposted content, and measure the added visibility from reposts.

I checked and sadly the Instagram Insights API doesn’t yet support repost metrics. This is pretty common though that companies will add new features to the UI first, and then add them to the API later.

 

We’ll keep an eye out to see if Meta does add the capability to the API in the future and add it then.
