Pull in Ad Names from LinkedIn

Currently, there is no way to pull in the ad name field into Supermetrics. It would be great to have this field.

Thank you for the request!

Unfortunately, the API doesn’t support this field directly, so we’re unable to add it as a new dimension at this time. The closest item is the  “Creative Direct Sponsored Content name” field, but this doesn’t work for all cases as not all ads come from posts.

We have provided this feedback to LinkedIn several times that users would like to get the ad name, but they haven’t implemented anything yet or promised anything in regards to timelines.

I believe this functionality is available, but it’s on the creative object.. Its actual name is the creative name, I believe.

Yes, we already have this. It’s the field that is powering that other dimension I mentioned, “Creative Direct Sponsored Content name”, but we’ve found that not all creative types were working with it.

Maybe that changed as there’s a note in the API docs saying they now always override the `dscName` with `name`. So please test that out.
