Matomo data source for Looker studio - Source/medium metrics

Thanks for reaching out! While direct support for this data in Matomo via the dedicated connector isn't on our immediate roadmap, we understand the importance of being able to integrate this data.

As a workaround for the short term, I would recommend exploring our Custom Data Import (CDI) feature. Together with Matomo’s scheduled reports feature, it is possible to set up an import of any report in Matomo, including the custom ones. If you configure the reports to be sent from Matomo in CSV format via email, CDI can ingest this into Supermetrics. By doing so, you'll be able to query the data in Looker Studio.

Your feature request has been logged and we may investigate the feasibility of supporting this in the connector in future, but unfortunately we are unable to provide any timelines on when this may be. We’ll share updates if anything changes.
