I would like to request an enhancement to the Shopify connector. Currently, it is not possible to clearly identify whether an order or customer belongs to B2B or D2D.

 

Use case:
These fields are essential for distinguishing between B2B and D2D sales in reporting. Having this information will allow us to:

  • Segment sales data by customer type

  • Track performance by business model

  • Improve accuracy in sales and operational reporting

Looking into this, I don’t see specific fields available called B2B or D2D or reference this (like a customer type dimension), but we do now have order tags, customer tags and other dimensions available where this information might be stored. 

If those don’t work for you, do you have additional details about what fields you’re using in Shopify to track this information?
