Better Mailchimp reporting for Looker

Two suggestions:

  • The Mailchimp API data (at least for campaigns) is raw and does not align with the cleaned up click and open data available in Mailchimp. Can the API data include the cleaned up data?
  • For the List Members query, can you add a Campaign dimension so I can see data by contact in a specific campaign?
  • There are way too many query types. Can they be combined into one or two?

We agree, the current version of the MailChimp connector has not aged very well and is not really keeping up with how the platform has evolved over the years.

We’re planning to completely overall it at some point in the future to address both the horrible UX with the report selection and align the feature more with MailChimp platform as it currently is.
