We’re having constant issues with lookerstudio and tiktok connector in supermetrics.  I attached the screenshot from the error.

Thanks for flagging this, it looks like a "permission error: the access token lacks required scope" with your TikTok Ads connection in Looker Studio. This typically means the Supermetrics connector doesn't have the necessary permissions to access all the data it needs from your TikTok Ads account.

We've seen similar issues before, and it's often resolved by refreshing the connection and ensuring the correct permissions are granted. Here's what you can try:

  1. Log out of the TikTok Ads connector within Supermetrics.

  2. Go directly to your TikTok Ads user settings. Look for an "Authorisations" or "Connected Apps" section.

  3. Remove any and all Supermetrics apps listed there. This effectively revokes the previous connection. The original authorisation likely didn't include the 'Ad Account Information' scope, which is crucial for the connection to work properly.

  4. Finally, log back into the TikTok Ads connector on the Supermetrics side. As you do this, make sure all the necessary scopes (permissions) are selected during the re-authorisation process. If they aren't, the connection might not work.

After following these steps, check if your data starts flowing into Looker Studio.

If the issue persists, please submit a detailed support ticket through the Supermetrics support portal . Our technical team can then investigate further, and it would be very helpful if you could include screenshots of the scopes you see when re-authorising the Supermetrics app in TikTok Ads (there might be a long list).
