Hi there,

I am having trouble

How do we get the arrow on the actual view, it’s only showing up the edit. See images.

Thanks,

Nicki

Hi all,

I'm popping back on this older thread to share the solution we found, so anyone else searching for this in the future can find the answer easily.

The Issue: Your Looker Studio table looks great in Edit mode, but in View mode, it's missing rows, the scroll bar, or the summary row.

The Solution: This is almost always fixed by checking one of two settings:

✅ Fix 1: Adjust the Table's Height (Most Common Fix)
Often, the table is simply too long for the page, and the bottom part gets cut off in View mode.

  • What to do: In Edit mode, click on the table and drag the bottom handle up slightly. Make sure the entire table fits within the page's canvas (look for the thin gray page border).

✅ Fix 2: Increase the "Rows per Page" Limit
Your table might be set to only show a few rows per page.

  • What to do: In Edit mode, select your table. In the SETUP tab in the properties panel, find the "Rows per page" option under Pagination. Increase this number to a value higher than your total rows (e.g., 500) to see everything on one page.

Pro Tip: Try adjusting the height first! That's usually the culprit.

Hope this helps anyone who lands here with the same problem. Happy reporting 😍

Thank you so much for your help Sahra
