Hi team, why would a log in of name@domain.com become namedomaincom@gtempaccount.com?

  1. What would be causing this?
  2. How do we go about resolving/reconciling this second account login to our actual name@domain.com team?

Many thanks!

Hi Nicholas,

Based on my research, the @gtempaccount.com is indicative of a conflicting account, and it happens when an account previously used as a personal Google account gets converted to a G Suite account.

Please contact your IT department as the Google account settings is usually managed by the IT team, and they should be able to advise and resolve this Google issue for you.

You can refer to this Google support article for more information: Troubleshoot issues with Google Accounts

Hope this helps!
